Does anybody know of a supplier that carries the 500g bricks of the Fermentis yeast strains? Thanks in advance.

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Yep a brick of yeast, thats what I'm looking for. Do you know of a supplier I can contact or is there another group buy coming up?

Bob Latimer is one of the most knowledgeable people in the Canadian brewing industry, hands down.

That's where I have been getting my yeast for the past couple of years.
Fast service. They also carry bricks of W34/70 and S189.

This is great news - My brick of us-05 is down to 1-2 brews left.

May have to start harvesting (us-05 is the only one I don't save/wash as I've had a TON of it haha).

I sent them an email asking for a quote shipped to my door earlier today - I'll let you know when they get back to me.

I just paid $47.00 for a brick of US-05 from G&P. I picked it up, but didn't know that they ship.

No not bad at all. I love it, especially when I can't get the yeast locally anyway.

I can't remember seeing it at the Mt. Pearl location the last time I was there, but in any case they certainly don't have W34/70 or S-189.
And I think what I paid for a brick plus shipping amounts to a lot less than $4.65 for 11g
