Anyone know if it's available in town somewhere?

That's something I haven't seen. What are you using it for...?

Some homebrew sites stock it but I still haven't found it locally. I'm using it to give some extra food for brett/lacto/pedio. It's essentially unfermentable by saccharomyces, so I'm hoping to get a little more sourness/funk from it.

Ah yes, I recall reading that some guys were doing that. I should try to rack off a sample of one of my lambics for next Friday, let you taste a version with no MD.

Brew shop in hydrostone has it.

That would be great, I'd love a sample. I don't have a lot of experience with brewing funky stuff myself, but I know a common complaint amongst homebrewers is not being able to get enough character/complexity/sourness in their attempts.

Thanks for the heads up on the brew shop moxie. I honestly didn't expect them to have it, as my experience with them has been that they mostly cater to the easy bake oven side of things

In my experience about the only places that ever carry it are the brewshops where they have no clue wtf they are doing or selling!

They do in fact have it. Picked some up yesterday, thanks for the lead Moxie!
