If you want one talk to Dave at Everwood...he's going to sell it as a kit.
I want one! How is it working for you Justin? I've been planning on doing this for awhile but am too chicken shit to try it. Do you mind outlining your steps in your process?

worked great for me...dave has everything in stock.
clean/sanitize keg, connect your gas line to the keg and open the relief valve to purge o2 (just enough to lay a blanket of co2 on the bottom of the keg) then remove from keg.
snap the carboy cap on, connect the gas line to the cap and the beer quick connect to the keg (it fills from the beer out dip tube).
I set the gas to 5-6psi (any more and the cap may pop off).
once the carboy is empty, close the relief valve, disconnect the beer quick connect. Connect the gas connection to the keg and purge a few time like normal.

Is that some Petit Sault at the top? I also just recently picked up what appears to be the Soeur Catherine and Le Kedgwick.

How much grain can you get into one of those bad boys? My wife just picked up 10 of them for me.Keith wrote:Well I tossed a few, and am missing a few lids. However I'm ready for grain and have no sudden cravings for ice cream haha.

If memory serves me right about .25 of a bag. They work amazing. I'm using the clear brew buckets now for the grain I use more of which hold 3/4 a bag.Halifax_Jeff wrote:How much grain can you get into one of those bad boys? It may have been a bit cold for brewing yesterday. Had to keep the kettle partially covered to maintain a good boil, icicles formed on the other side during the boil!

Hmm ... May have overdone the hops a bit. Looks to be about 4L of trub and dry hop material ...
