Hemp Seeds

I made a hemp ale recently and it turned out great, but all I could find were hulled hemp seeds at bulk barn and they cost about $18 for the batch. Anyone know where I could get some whole hemp seeds?

In the past when I've made hemp beers I located a hemp farmer and bought some of their spent seeds after they've had the oils pressed out of them. There's a ton of valuable oil in them that I wouldn't really want in my beer, even as healthy as it is, and after they've got the goods out of them the seeds are dirt cheap.

Good idea! I did find there was a bit of an oil layer on the beer while it was fermenting...
