I know the feeling (although on a much lesser scale) i changed my setup and my last two brews were not up to par at all. Hopefully its just a temporary learning curve!

I got my tap handles last night and am thoroughly impressed with the Cocobolo wood and construction of them. This is the person that made Jimmy's espresso tamper, and was the first beer tap handle he's ever made, but you'd never know it. I'd highly recommend this guy, as I'm sure Jimmy would as well, if you ever need tap handles made. :cheers:

Very nice. I'd like to see some done with pimento wood, the stuff I got for smoking was really neat looking.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

That's unfortunate - knew he was heading south but hoped a keg or two may have made it to Fredericton.

I'm late to the party but congrats on the new brewery! Pretty impressive accomplishments with the hurdles and regulations etc... I will have to plan a trip to the SJ area just to try the delicious brews... Cheers

Hey Justin, unfortunately I am not licensed for Growlers. Where in the area are you headed?

Unfortunately, I did have to pull out. With me heading south in a couple of hours and gone for 9 days I had to stock up my local licensees as much as possible. I do however have beer on tap at the King St. Ale House and 540 Kitchen though.

Exciting news!
And while we're on the topic on Hammond River, this is as good a time as any to mention that they've confirmed that they will be expanding some time in the future, likely to a 15 bbl (~17 hL) brewery (that's 15-times larger than their current setup). While the expansion is still in the planning stages, we're looking forward to having Hammond River beers more readily-available to the masses! http://acbeerblog.ca/2015/01/23/friday- ... -20150123/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
