Re: Hammond River Brewing
Thanks gents. I'm just in the planning stages at the moment with a partner, so this will be some time in the making of course. I'm 100% dedicated to making it work, it's just going to take some time to get it done.......but it WILL get done.
On another note, I had a recent article published on HRB from The East Magazine.

Re: Hammond River Brewing
Well, it's been a very LONG time but I can officially say that my expansion is finally happening. My new brew house gear has been ordered from DME, so the wait begins for it to be manufactured. It will be a significant upgrade from my current 1 bbl system as I will be going to a 15 bbl brew house with a 20 bbl MLT, 30 bbl HLT, and a combo of 15 bbl and 30 bbl fermenters. I will be moving into a newly constructed log building in Rothesay that will be directly attached to The Barrel's Head Gastropub. Everything should be up and running sometime early 2017, and I am looking very forward to it.

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

Re: Hammond River Brewing
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Re: Hammond River Brewing
Thanks gents. It's been a really long process for me as I have no financial partners or investors, but it's been well worth the wait. It's going to be a long , yet exciting next 6 months or so. Btw, I'll be looking to hire an assistant brewer in the new year if anyone knows someone that may be interested.
