Would that oxygen stone fit a ball lock valve that is threaded on one end? Or would the stone hit the ball valve? Maybe these are only made for triclove assemblies?

BTW, just be careful of backflow into your O2 line. If you're careful you won't get any but it you let it sit without O2 flowing then you'll get some. I make sure my regulator is higher than the stone just in case.

Swapped out my old element housing (standard box style) for the triclover one. Didn't really need it, but it's a bit cleaner.

Nice. I need to do this as cleaning is a drag with my current set-up dragging the cord around when cleaning.

I've got that element guard kit and it's one hardcore piece of equipment.

So I sold my BREWHA mash colander, and going back to a standard mash tun. With the colander, I was limited on batch size & gravity with some beers. With the separate mash tun, I'll now be able to do no-sparge, 20 gallon batches in my BREWHA.

I ordered the 30 gallon brewers hardware mash tun, and asked them to weld a 1.5" tri clover fitting into the bottom for a bottom drain setup. The false bottom pictured below is what typically ships with the mash tun, however, they tell me they punch the hole for the dip tube at their store, so they can ship one without the hole.

This pot is also going to double as a keg cleaner..element in the bottom port, a spray ball mounted on 1/2" SS tubing that routes through the upper port and will reach into the kegs...continuously recirculating from the bottom drain to the spray ball, all while heating the water. I'll have to gear some bars up to lay across the top of the pot for the kegs to rest on upside down.

I just got a Spike Brewing 20 gallon 1.5" tri-clad fittings. Like the idea of converting the pot into a keg cleaner.

Nice - I was looking at the spike 30 gallon, but they wouldn't weld a bottom drain into it for me.

New mash tun arrived this week. Now I need to gear up some sort of stand/table to accommodate the bottom drain on this
