Hey, somebody has the roll of SS mesh we were passing around for making hopstoppers. Some new individuals are interested in making their own. Just need to find out where the potato stopped rolling.

I'd love to get a piece of this as well if your able to track it down. Remembering the headache from my last brew when my drain clogged up may have finally motivated me to set up a proper filter system.

I'll get you some even if I can't find that roll.

I've still got it. I'd promised it to John C next, but I think there's still lots to go around.

Here's a pic with the top on. The top gets held down tight to the main ring in the keggle by a 1/2" ss nipple through the hole in the middle.

Yes I do. Would you like a piece? What dimensions? Do you need it rolled (it's pretty stiff)?

think I'm going to take a crack at making a hop hopper (ba-dum-dum-chhhh) similar to the hop rocket... so a piece (and some screen) would be very much appreciated. No need to have it rolled.

I've gotta work up some drawings first... so I'll get back to you (sometime next week)

Very Good. I might be able to come up with a couple of SS filter canisters if that's of any interest to you.

X, do you live in some sort of ss scrap yard? I'd be interested in one of those canisters if available? Man this board is great! All kinds of resourses out there I didn't know were available to me

I did pick up a body for the filter though. I'll post a pic tomorrow. I'll remember the parts next trip for sure.

nope... still trying to get settled into the new job before I start designing anything.

X - Do you have a photo of what those SS filter cannisters look like?

I might try to take a run at a hop rocket too.

I chucked it, lol. Myself and ratchet looked at it and decided that it wasn't going to work. I think his idea of building from scratch is probably the best bet.

Is this stainless steel screen still circulating around? I'm looking to try and get some of it for a hop stopper.

I've got some of it at home. I will be back in Halifax Thursday night, if you want it I will be home until Sunday evening.
