Anyone know if there's a local source for these things? It's a fitting to add a ball lock post to something.

Not exactly but IIRC a 3/8 flare will "fit". Not sure how well it would be for co2, just tape it lots. BTW I have one of those from my last OBK order, for putting a ball lock post on my conical.
Here's what I got from Home Depot. I use that one for cleaning lines.

I got one of those from OBK for the CO2 hook up on my Blichmann gun. The connection always leaked where the post screwed on to that fitting. I had lots of tape on it and it still leaked. I finally got fed up with it and tightened it with all my might …suddenly something gave and the post threaded right on up to the hilt, the O ring started sealing and doing its job and it’s never leaked CO2 since. Not sure what went on, but might need to screw the posts on very firmly if you get one.
I looked everywhere for a 19/32 fitting to thread into corny posts and OBK was the only place I could find. Hardware stores don’t carry them.

Here's another one for ya. This is what I use to hook up to gas lines. It's the top cut off a pop bottle epoxied to a cpvc female ntp fitting. Screw on a carbonator cap and off you go.

I just ended up ordering it from OBK - that was my original plan but I figured I'd pick it up local to save on shipping if I could.

The universal poppets (spring type) can bind in the threads and cause this. Sometimes tearing the oring if your unlucky.GuingesRock wrote:I got one of those from OBK for the CO2 hook up on my Blichmann gun. What ever happened to guy who invented poppet valves? Did he change his name and move to South America.AllanMar wrote:The universal poppets (spring type) can bind in the threads and cause this.
