So I haven't 100% determined where my CO2 leak is, but my current suspicion is a misbehaved pin-lock keg. I'd like to replace all the o-rings, however I'm not sure how to get the gas/liquid posts off? The pins get in the way of using a wrench. I see some online retailers selling a special pin lock socket (for a ridiculous price, btw) - does anyone have one that I could borrow or an (easy) alternative for taking my kegs apart?

I had the same problem. I grabbed a socket wrench that I had at home, and had a friend who had a dremel tool cut four slots in the socket (so that it'll fit both the gas and beer posts, of course), and voila, you've got the same thing as what they're selling for $$$ online.

I use a crescent wrench at a 45 degree angle. Hops clogged in the poppets are a frequent source of leaks.

I’m looking at the same issue. Was thinking of repurposing an old socket - drilling some notches in it.
Wondering what size socket ?
Unless someone has one they’re looking to sell.
