How frequent do you brew

Well a friend asked me today how frequent do I brew. I responded as frequent as I need. However I know it's often. With family and friends over sampling, it doesn't take long to go through a batch.

I went through my posts to figure out how many brews I did this year. Turns out my next batch will be # 20 since Jan 1st. It seems like a lot of beer to go through, however with 3 steady faces + guests consuming the beer, it's no surprise I brew this frequently. People on facebook must think I'm tanked 24/7.

I go on vacation Friday, and plan on brewing my ass off to get ahead of this. I plan on pulling a double and a single to make the most of my brew day and get 3/5 of my spares filled. Next I'll need to find a lead on ball locks and bring a few more in the house.

Lol. But I brew 5 gallon batches.

I brew once a week at least, sometimes twice. It slows a little when we don't have events, and picks up for christmas, superbowl, st. patty's day, Canada Day, stanfest, group camping, annual pig roast, birthday parties, Oktoberfest, Halloween...and I always try to have all of my taps running, and one in the chamber.

I have 30gal waiting for kegs rite now...I just love to brew

Since the store opened I've brewed 3 times (averages once every 6 months). BUT, I did brew 45 gallons this past Saturday so while it's not a fun and leisurely activity, it is productive.

Twice a month. 10 gallon batches. Not so much in the summer. I brew more in the spring and fall.

In the summer, about once a month if I can... outside of summer I've been back to my usual schedule of about every 2 weeks. All are 5 gallon batches (or less, I've been doing more 3.5 gallon batches lately to try out different hop varieties and such).

I average 2 batches a month. I brew 6 gallons when brewing solo and do a 10 gallon batch at least every 6-8 weeks.

I have brewed 9 times this year, so I am averaging about a brew day every 3 weeks or so.
