Picnic taps

Post by dean2k » Thu Aug 28, 2014 9:44 am

Okay, new to kegging. After a pour, the tap doesn't fully close and I have to dick around it while it continues to spray a thin stream before I can get it to close. Damn thing needs a urologist. Is this a know issue with picnic taps, faulty tap, or is it just me doing something wrong?

Try tearing the tap down and reseating the gaskets, also be sure not to over tighten it.

I was going to say make sure the top is screwed on, happened to me recently and it was that the top wasn't tight at all.
