high fermentation temp

Post by saosborne » Sun Sep 28, 2014 6:19 pm

So here' my issue, brewed an APA yesterday as a " guest" beer put it down to ferment but reversed the heat and cool plugs on the temp controller. Didnt realize till tonight temp was @ 31*c . don't think i killed the yeast, from the look of it I'll hit FG in about 4 days. Anyone else done anything similar? If so can it be saved? if not can you feed it to people who like bud lite?

High fermentation temps is the only way that I have ruined a batch so far. It tastes "hot". I didn't dump it but wouldn't serve it to my friends.
