Any of you guys keep commercial bottles?

Post by moxie » Fri Jun 10, 2011 10:37 am

For some reason I have a an attachment to some commercial beer bottles. Haha. I particularly like the screenprinted bottles, etc. Anyway, the GF is not happy about this, and she is starting to strong-arm my bottle collection out of our house! We currently don't have a "man-cave" type space in our house, so I am pretty SOL. Any ideas how I can undermine her, and/or put the bottles to use in a creative/interesting way so that she tolerates them?

:shh:

Fill them full of homebrew - even better if its a style/recipe she likes.

One more thing, feel free to snap a photo of your bottle collection if you have one.

She seems to be warming up to the idea of a bottle shelf:

A few chunks of maple or something and that would be decent with bombers.

Holy crap, that's neat...until you need the bottles, lol.

Well the bombers would be retired, for sure. They've served well.

I just save the 650ml bombers. I plan on filling them from the keg for sharing my brew.

Hmm... That's a good way to get kids to drink milk.
