Because it's exchange vs refill, I sort of agree. But... If he'll fit paintball tanks, he may fill 5lb, though I wouldn't want to take up all of his time/his attention during opening hours.

When I'm on my laptop, I'll add it.

Just discovered this board. Great to have a place for East coasters to talk homebrew. I am just getting into kegging and wondering if anyone knows of a place in Miramichi to get a keg filled. Thanks!

Not sure about Miramichi, but Match-It has fire extinguishers, so may fill them, and/or know who will do so locally.

I see there is (was?) a Braemar there, but it might be the Pest Control, and not Fire Services branch.

If you have any luck, please report back so that we can edit the front page!

75 Dorchester Street

or

69 Johnston St

Do they have a website?

Not cheap! That's about double the price for a 20lb fill @ Don Brenton's.

Umm, that's the whole reason I maintain this list, to save people money. It ain't for fortune and fame (my mom gives me enough of that).

Cumings in Bridgewater uses Brenton's to do their work. Hence you're paying them to take them to the city and do your fill and stat. Praxair doesn't have a clue...at least their agents down here...and when they did clue in, it was a "transport and fill" elsewhere issue as well.

Noble Grape in Burnside has a co2 tank upgrade option. If yer thinking of going from 5lb to a bigger size...like a 10lb for instance. You can get credit from your 5lb tank so that your new 10lb is much cheaper.

I'm on the south shore and always use Brenton's . No one here does it locally anyway. Cumins takes theirs to Brenton's and Praxair sends them to Hali. Both crazy expensive!

I was just in at Simplex asking for pricing to fill a 30lb tank and I was advised it is $3/lb. Would be $90 + tax to fill my tank. Looks like this guy is going to Don Bretons.

Don Breton's is $23.75 (unsure with or without tax) for the fill. Hoping to head over later today to get the 30lb tank filled and will update.

23.75 for a 30lbs tank!! It's costing me 35 for a 5lbs here. That's an awesome deal.

It was $23.75 for a 20lb the last time I went, so if it's the same for 30lb, that's quite the steal!
