That's some seriously good customer service. I bet you would have been happy paying for a 20lb and and then 10lb fill.

Had a pair of 20lb tanks hydro'ed and filled @ Don Brenton's this week, total was $110, which included a $6 o-ring for a diptube that the technician threw in for free, as I wanted to convert one to fill smaller tanks. Again, great service!

I did run into a higher price initially, as the invoice was not marked for DRAFT bottle, so be sure that it is.

Unfortunately, the low pricing @ Don Brenton's is over. OP updated. More in line with other pricing in the region.

Just had a 5lb and two 10lb filled at Don's.
$15 for the 5lb
$25 for the 10lb
Had to leave them as the new guy read the hydro wrong and said 1 had to be tested, so I just left them all, but they called later and corrected that. So I picked up this morning.
Great service, helped me carry out to the truck.

Cost of tank handles has gone down by $2.

Wow, they're all over the map these days with pricing, then! What did you get filled? Maybe they gave you the bulk price for all of them, because you had so many?

Does anyone know of any options in the Annapolis Valley to have a tank refilled? Or is a trip down to Brenton's in my future...

@mvBrew I'd give these guys a call - http://www.fostersfireandsafety.com/

It looks like they do hydro tests and recharging of some kind, just not sure if they'd do pure CO2 fills, or just fire extinguisher recharges.

Otherwise there's Brenton's or Tyco in Darmouth - pricing is similar at both (unless you get a rockstar at Don's like I did one time that tells you not to bother paying)

Thanks Kevin. Do you still bring in your tank to them, or they come to you? Any idea if this seemed like it was Coronavirus related, or just in general? Thanks again!

Awesome thanks Kevin! I was there 2 weeks ago and I assumed they would be shutting down or reducing contact with public sooner than they did.
