Hey all,
Does anyone have experience with either a carbonation stone (kegging), oxygenation stone (for chilled wort) or nitrogen/beer gas in home brew? I'm interested in trying any of these options, just wondering if they're worth the time/effort.

Re: Carbonation/Oxygenaton stones
I bought a carbonation lid c/w carb stone from Ontario Beer Kegs a few years ago. I didn't find it made a lot of difference and it was a pain in the butt to change out the caps. I never use it anymore, I just let the keg sit under pressure for a week to carbonate.

I have a 2 micron threaded stone from Everwood, I use it in a 1/2" all female T for inline oxygenation (from an O2 tank) towards the end of whirlpool cooling.

I use a SS stone for my bitters/stout with beer gas. Takes just over night to get that nice cascading affect.
