Maple beer experiment
Hmmmmm. It might work..... I took the noble grape bee mans honey ale kit, substituted 500 ml for the honey. And it's turning out very nice. May help shorten this worst-winter-ever.

Re: Maple beer experiment
I've made maple wine before by using 5 gal of sap and a bit of sugar to bring the SG up. Turned out really good with just a hint of maple aroma and taste so it should work for beer too.
Currently on tap:
1) Festa Brown Ale
2) Festa Pale Ale
3) Best Case Northern Lights
4) Festa Continental Pilsner
In the bucket: Empty
In the carboy: Empty
Buy yourself a 24 and you'll be happy for a weekend. Teach yourself to homebrew and you'll be happy for a lifetime.

Re: Maple beer experiment
Try bottle conditioning or keg priming with it. More of the flavour will come through.
