Anyone running fans in their kegerator?

Post by mcgster » Fri Mar 13, 2015 8:55 am

I noticed in my fridge (the non beer one) i was getting some freezing in the containers close to the cold air diffuser which led me to start thinking about providing some air circulation in my kegerator. Does anyone have a fan running in their kegerator, if so how do you have it wired in.

I was thinking i could wire a circulation fan off the light lead, which would require a 120V fan or a transformer.

I thought of putting in a small fan to circulate cold air up into my tower, but never got around to it. I planned to use a computer fan connected to a wall wort adapter, with the cable fished through the drain hole on the compressor hump. Just one of those unfinished items I never got around too.

Yah there are so many projects in that category for me lol

Amazon.com has a 10$ AC fan that would work. I may order it in

I do and it really helps since my keezer is packed with kegs. I have a sub $10 AC/DC fan from Walmart in that and my conical fridge.
