CO2 tank price

Post by brulelager » Mon Jul 20, 2015 10:33 pm

What's a good price to ask for a 20 pound CO2 tank, steel with a handle on the top and no gauge and about three quarters full of CO2? Also if I has 5 Pepsi kegs what would be a good price to move them quickly but not give them away.

Reconditioned CO2 tank at NG (full) is $209.99 so I'd ask less than that.

I'd take one of those pepsi kegs off your hands for $45 if you're in/around Halifax and it's in good shape.

CO2 tank price

Agreed with Darci/andor/jenn, $45 seems to be the going price for kegs these days.
As for the tank, the hydro date may have an affect on the price. I've seen them for anywhere for $25-$150 used in private sales, though the days of real cheap ones may be long gone. The price differential between 5,10&20lb is not as big as the size difference may suggest.

I know his guy who has 5 Pepsi kegs and a 20 lb tank no gauge.
He wants like 300 dollars for it all, sounds a little high. Considering
A gauge is 80 bucks extra plus tax.

The five kegs would probably be worth 40$ each, and the tank 100-150, so not bad really

Last 4 CO2 tanks I bought were $50 each full, so my offer is $50 for the CO2 tank.
Why brew beer I can buy?
