Kegerator Fail...

Post by mcgster » Sun Oct 04, 2015 1:04 pm

Came back to NL after being away for 3 months on placement and found my kegerator decided to consume my beer by absorbing it...

Needless to say i'll be making sure to defrost it more often.

Hahaha it was last sunday when i got back actually, just had some exams this week so i didn't get around to posting. It took awhile to clean it up. I didn't have a hair dryer to melt all the ice so i used a hot plate and a pot of boiling water with the door open. It took about 2 hours to thaw out. It needed a good cleaning anyway, i had it over loaded with beer when i left for the summer and clearly they were too close to the back.

Same thing happened to me a while back. Had pushed all of my bottles as close to the back as I could to prevent the racks from bending too much, left for a couple of weeks and came back to a similar tragedy!
