Screw Ups and Mishaps

Post by RossBee » Sat Mar 19, 2016 1:06 pm

Don't you just hate it when you dump 400 litres of Blueberry wine on the ground because of a faulty hose clamp.

Check your clamps, fittings and connections boys and gals!!

Stepped out of the room for a pee, pumping to atmosphere - blueberry wine that is, clamp on high volume pump decides to let go. Needless to say, all is covered in wine, including me.

A leisurely day of decanting turned in a nightmare!!

This one time I forgot to close a ball clamp while transferring to the kettle in my kitchen. Somehow that incident doesn't seem so bad anymore. How do you clean up 400 litres of blueberry wine?

The parts that were exposed are quite Smurf like, can't wait to show the Smurf parts to the wife......... wait a minute, that came out wrong, lol.

Changing fittings this week, only 2.5% spillage on the day, nevertheless, a shit tonne down the drain.
