Best place to buy industrial sink, table and prerinse faucet

Post by wgould » Fri Jun 03, 2016 11:09 am

Just moved into a new house, and I have the opportunity to create a new brew area in either the furnace room or the garage. I'll need to buy/install a new sink, faucet and table. Any thoughts on the best place to buy those? Is Big Erics reasonable, or should I be looking online? Anywhere else in Burnside that has used industrial kitchen gear? Anybody knowledgable about designing/installing this stuff locally on a small scale? I set up my last brew room, but the wife would like this one to be a little nicer looking, so it looks like I have to turn to a real plumber. :) Finally, anything that you guys installed in your brew room that you can't live without? btw, I've been brewing on an all 20g electric single vessel Brew-Boss system. Happy with it so far.

I have a piece of hose (food grade) I can spray and clean with. If I did it again I'd have 2 faucets. 1 For attachments and 1 as a normal faucet.

That makes sense Sandy. I'm limited to about 75 inches of space, but with brewing in a single vessel, I'm thinking I should err on the side of more sink and less counter. Saw this today at big Eric's and think it might fit the bill. I'd just put my brew pot to the right of the sink where that white bleach bottle is.

I'd be putting it in place of this wooden cabinet and then adding an overhead hood. Not sure if that'll just be a basic range hood or something else.

That's a sexy sink. Does the sprayer / faucet come with it?

They sell them separately, but they're knocking $150 off the faucet if I buy both, that's without me haggling. It's still close to 2k. I'm guessing that I could get a used sink and prerinse faucet for 1/4 of that if I get lucky...but I'd probably be waiting a while.

Try redline equipment in Truro. They sell lots of used comercial kitchen equipment. I was there last year and you could pick up a stainless steel sink for around 250-300 $
