Kettle volume

Post by sucanushie » Tue Jun 07, 2016 6:16 pm

Is there a quick way to measure the volume of a kettle without having to use liquid?

It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? The formula is correct...however, it doesn't tell you liters, gallons etc. Use this online calculator for US, SI (metric) and Imperial:

At Bat: several Czech Pils
On Deck: Cream Ale
In the Hole: Kolsch
Clean Up: Tall Ships Ale clones
On tap: Propeller Pils, Festa Cream Ale

Also take into consideration the rounded edges most pots have.

1000 cm3 is a litre. As long as you don't use imperial calculations are easy.
