I'm hoping to set one of these up too. We definitely need to pull off a collaboration brew this winter Mark.
Nova Prime Taproom
Tap 1: Festa Brew Scotch Ale
Tap 2:
"Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chamber of my brain -
Quaintest thoughts - queerist fancies
Come to life and fade away;
What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today." ~ Poe

Re: Brewpump update
does it have to be angled down or can it just be lower than the keggle?dexter wrote:since its gravity primed you'll want to make sure its angled down to get things moving.

This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Re: Brewpump update
Lower than the outlet on your keggle and pump outlet higher than inlet so you can bleed out any air in your lines.bluenose wrote:does it have to be angled down or can it just be lower than the keggle?dexter wrote:since its gravity primed you'll want to make sure its angled down to get things moving.

Re: Brewpump update
Hey all. Greetings from Ontario.
Found your post while searching for some info on this pump.
Here is my mockup, but I'm wondering if there is a way to actually mount this little pump to/in something.
I'm worried that this setup is too long and unstable since it will be camlocked to the ball valve on the pot. It's a beast!

Re: Brewpump update
When I used one of those pumps, I made a small wooden frame out of some spare pine shelving boards I had kicking around. I used a hole saw to cut a whole for the pump to slide into, and then on the sides of the frames I notched out places for the inlet and outlet to rest. Then put all that on a wider base and it made for a pretty sturdy, albeit still light, setup.elproducto wrote:Hey all. Greetings from Ontario.
