That's cute, I've got 3.4lbs in a 5 gallon batch :rockin:
Fawk that's a metric shit ton of hops.

Haha it is! It's what happens when you let Mumble run loose in your hop fridge!

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

I stopped using hops in my IPA's and DIPA's due to cost and availability.

I think you mean something more like, "It's what happens when you let Mumblecrunch (and Chalmers) loose in your hop fridge and tell them, 'I don't care; use it all!'"

It definitely didn't drop clear  All things considered though it was remarkably drinkable. Maybe we could have shown a little restraint on the bittering addition, but restraint wasn't exactly what we were shooting for :spilly:

I'm still missing a few entries, don't leave it until the last minute to bottle or deliver your beer!

I'm available for dropoff until Friday at 6pm, after which I'll be in full organizing mode, and you don't want to get in my way! ;) [if that's the only time you're available, its' OK]

I am available today and Thursday for drop-off 5-9pm, and may be available during the day today through Friday, too (8:30-3:30). Otherwise, it's safe to leave the beer on my back deck, never had an issue, and it's just about the perfect temperature these days! A plastic bag is a good idea, to ensure your label isn't destroyed in the humidity.

I live in Spryfield, contact for exact address.

And if you know now which day/time you'll be coming, that will help me organize my life.

Hi folks, the competition is over, and David Pepper's Dark MIld, Risky Biscuits, was the winner.

I have everyone's t-shirts, but am leaving town on Tuesday, with a ton of work to do before then. Would someone be willing to be the local contact person for the shirts? There are more than 40 of them, and I have a hitlist of who gets what. Your help with this would be appreciated!

When you grab the hops if you want to drop off the stuff for the Sackville/Beaver bank Crew I can be the pickup spot for that.
