Awesome news! Congrats Tim!
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

That's awesome, Tim.

It's interesting to hear, according to the article, that Brewnosers are contributing to the quality of southern Ontario home brewing.

Having had the honour of tasting the beer on Saturday, :mmm: all I can say is that Beau's have a big job ahead of them to make a beer that good.

There happens to be a BrewNoser in Ottawa. How much should I get him to buy if/when they bottle? :beer2:

Amazing! No surprise though. Your Dubbel was every bit as good as the Ommegang Dubbel Kai and Judy brought. Made for a great comparison.

If you've got a couple bottles left, you should re-enter it in 'All About Ales'

I think I bumped into Tim at Noble Grape last I was there! What a coincidence. Well, at least, someone who said their Dubbel was being brewed by Beau's, a beer named Doc's Feet, so I can only assume he was Tim, having never met him :)
