Re: ALES 2014
I can't fault them for trying to mail out the results in one package, given the recent increases in Canada Post rates. However, they probably could have reached out a bit earlier on the Brewnoser main page to determine who to send the results to. I'm guessing they couldn't just send all the results to one random person in the Brewnosers because some people may not want their results shared? Just a thought. Something to keep in mind when we do our own competition.RubberToe wrote:When I was talking to them on Tuesday they still had them so they went out after that.

I've never entered or organized a competition, but aren't part of the entry fees there to cover the cost of mailing the results?

I would think so, Ales is pretty cheap to enter though.Jimmy wrote:I've never entered or organized a competition, but aren't part of the entry fees there to cover the cost of mailing the results?

Strange, I got my results mailed to me pretty soon after the comp last year, must have been some mix up.

Re: ALES 2014
I got a 29 and two 31s. Not my best, but my next ones will be better. I'm remaking my 29 next weekend (southern English brown), so at this point I'm just glad to have my feedback.

As in previous years, the BBQ is at the Kramer Park in north Regina. It starts at 4 p.m. and there will be several beers on tap along with the leftover competition beers (there are a lot of great beers in the mix!). We'll also be serving a WHOLE ROAST PIG!
Tickets are only $25 per person. Children are welcome - there's even a playground!
Bring appropriate clothing for the weather, as we'll hold the event rain or shine (there's a small structure if necessary). Bring your own lawnchairs.
To get tickets email exec@alesclub.com or send us a message on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/alesclub" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) or Twitter (@ALESClub).
