Depending on how the IPA I brewed today turns out, I may submit it for this. May also submit my robust porter.

Anyone interested in combining on shipping?

I love this comp, let's bring it!

Robust Porter for sure. Kolsch maybe, but it has a little sulphur on the nose. Altbier in the fermenter. That's all I have ready really. Maybe I should squeeze out another brew this weekend. The starter pipeline is holding things up... I just ordered parts for some more stir plates.

I could even have my first lager by then. Ingredients won't be here for 10 days or more.

My porter might be good, I'm bottling this weekend, I'm opening a Vienna lager tonight, that might be good, the bitter is good but might be a little old by then, I'm not sure on the altbier. Does anybody have ideas on getting it to Calgary in February without it freezing?

I think I'm going to enter my Nut Brown, Robust Porter and IPA depending on how they turn out. if I had a couple bottles of the DIPA left, I'd enter that too :(.

With the time we have, I'd be open to group shipping to reduce cost.

FedEx Express saver / 3 day air shipping. I asked last year about freezing and was told the environment in that case would be ok.

May be able to look at one of those 30hr heat packs as an option. However not sure how warm they get.
Another option may be to heat up a few of those gel packs and stick them in the box, won't stay warm too long, however may be just enough to get the beer by.

Keith if that's the Hoppily Ever After. I have a bottle here. I was saving it until after advent, but I tried it already at the advent exchange, it was good.

That's the one, the only other issue, is my last bottle was for Nash and it's a bomber which are excluded.

I don't suppose any others are floating around?

I can't unless someone has a miracle stash of Belma hops. Altho I could just leave it out , but wouldn't be the same.

I do have a stash. Probably just under a pound. How much do you need?

Shouldn't be a problem.

I bottled off a few extra Robust Porter tonight to possibly send in to this. Anyone else entering and want to split on S&H?

Just registered my Robust Porter. Entry #329. I'm probably going to bottle off my nut brown if time permits to send in. :cheers2:

I just priced shipping and would need to ship over night to minimize change of freezing.
At a cost of 91.64 to ship 2 beers, I'm going to need to respectfully step out of this comp, can't justify spending that much on S&H.
