Yeast Wranglers and Werthogs comps are like a week apart every year, FYI.

Mark - have you entered your "Brit Brit" in competitions before?

No first time for a few of those will be Calgary

Thats awesome, which ones are your first time submissions?

I have an american pale ale that will be a first for me, and my robust porter as well.

I also have a lite lager, oktoberfest and saison that will be first submissions but they won't be ready in time for the Calgary competition.

That sounds great.

Pilsner Myquell, Brit Bit, G'day and G'day raspberry, and More are all new. Anxious to see how they get on. I think More, brit and myquell are good and the G'days might be not such G'days, but you never know. I might have that backwards. It's a crap shoot as LiverDance says.

I've come to the conclusion that unless I get a second job I'll not be competing any time soon.

Yup! I'm really debating this one only working part time as a full time student and paying to live in two cities makes it tough.. well who am i kidding even before these things add up.

The entry limit is almost reached. I got 189 - 192 and there's a limit of 200.

I was just looking at the site it looks like they hit their limit!

If you got best of show at their competition, would look good on the application form.

One of the Maine Beer Company guys gave up being a lawyer to start that brewery. Moral of the story is get it right the first time

Closer to home that is how picaroons started as well, Sean was in law school i believe.

FYI I dropped out of this comp. Just way to busy to bottle and get my entries together. Saving up for the Brewnosers comp and maybe ALES. Hopefully my current brews will stay fresh enough.

I'm on my 19th hour of work right now and will be my 4th in 2 weeks. Trust me I wasn't getting beer near him.

I got mine out last night with about 5 minutes to spare. Shipping from NL is killing me, i miss 3 day fedex!
