My wallet will likely take a big hit from this one.. currently all five of my fermentors are full.

It should be warm enough by then to ship ground, so I'll probably be in. I'm currently thinking my robust porter and American wheat beer, maybe my American IPA if it turns out, and maybe my ordinary bitter and Dusseldorf altbier if they're still good by then.

Awesome, is there a limit on entries for this one?

I may send my American Lager and Oktoberfest.

I have a few new ones, including a fresh barley wine :). This is a very tough competition (630 entries last year). I wouldn't be surprized at all if I don't get anything, although the NYC one was slightly bigger (662). It's a new entry system, easier to use.

Doesn't look like there's a limit. I put in 11 and still says I can add.

Are you putting in any first time entries this round?

Edit for some reason I didn't see the post mentioning the new barley wine!

If the skys are the limits you best get brewing more.

The pilsner will hopefully be clear by then, I sent the cloudy version to the two this weekend. Barley wine, and the cali are new. Cali is still in the fermentor.

What will be new for you Mark?

Keith I'm putting on another working man next Weekend, but won't be ready in time. I still have one bottle of working man in the fridge and you said Erin said she would loan me the bottle she still has in the fridge. I'll replace it with a few bottles from the new batch. :cheers2:

"We require 2 bottles per entry. Bottles must be between 300 and 375 ml"

I bottled a few wheat beer in 500ml brown bottles...I'll have to grab some smaller bottles and fill those once the keg is fully carbed...shitty tho, I carbed the 500ml bottles to 2.8vol, and i'll only carb the keg to 2.4vol

Oh well

I am getting pretty excited for this competition. I have a few new styles that i really look forward to feedback on, Lite american lager and Oktoberfest. And i reworked my blonde ale recipe and used the london ESB strain in it, it scored a 32 average before so i'm curious to see if this makes a difference. One thing about that London ESB strain is it left the beer crystal clear!

I got all excited with this one last year and didn't win anything. I thought for sure I would ...you know how it goes. :)

This year I'm more sceptical.

If you keep on your current trajectory i don't think anyone else will win any medals :spilly:

:) That was just a lucky streak. I'm seriously doubtful here.

I enquired: There are no personal entry limits. A brewer could enter a beer in every sub cat if they wanted to.

Hope it goes well and you sort out what you wanted too. I have a bet on you doing well.

I'm planning to send to this on Monday. Is anyone else in this year?

Yes, i have been looking forward to this one.

It doesn't look like i'm going to be able to enter all the beer i want due to shipping issues / box weight but i'm going to send for sure my saison, oktoberfest, american lager and scottish export (that i never sent into the railcar one). I'd like to send my IPA and a new DIPA too.

After that if i have room my pale ale and blonde ale will be next in the box but it looks like 6 entries will probably be max for me.

Mark, If CP has a weight limit can you send 2 boxes? Looks like I will have to send 2 boxes this time.

I pulled my entries out of the fridge for packing. I ended up with 14. I suspect a few people may be sending double that. One of the working man has jasmine and the other doesn't (I made a new split batch).

Sending two boxes would be possible but not in the budget sadly, well either is sending 1 but i'm not willing to miss out after brewing several new styles.
