Re: Brewnosers Homebrew Competition 2015
will do...thanks
any word on the score sheets? I'm interested in hearing feedback on my test beer...I'm holding off brewing until I correct a few things. Looking for an o2 set up now (one that I can afford)

Re: Brewnosers Homebrew Competition 2015
I was told my beer exploded in transit... Yet somehow I got scores for all three! (38/50 on my IPA... Despite the crystal malts, which was accurately perceived) I'm thinking some other poor soul had their beer explode and wasn't aware!

I talked to the guys and it turns out that two of your bottles were broken, one from each entry. So your beer was still judged there was just less of it to go around.

That's awesome! It was like Christmas in June to get those scores!!! 38/50 for my IPA is exciting!

I'm heading into the city tonight, and I know Alex has my medal. I'd also like to pick up woody's and Jeff's. Anyone know the whereabouts of those?

Sorry I missed this, I understood that Alex and Keith took all of the Truro medals. Hopefully you got 'em.Hub Brewer wrote:I'm heading into the city tonight, and I know Alex has my medal. I'd also like to pick up woody's and Jeff's. Anyone know the whereabouts of those?

Re: Brewnosers Homebrew Competition 2015
The Best Case beer was going to be the Best In Show, which was the Grape Lambic... You can tell that us judges weren't terribly worried about the consequences, and actually chose the best beer in front of us! I have no insider knowledge as to what the plan is for that, but will touch base with them.jacinthebox wrote:Any word on which beer Best Case is going to kit up?

The sponsors have the winning names and addresses, so should be sending out the swag ASAP. I'll ask Andrew to update us.

Re: Brewnosers Homebrew Competition 2015
I've hear a bunch of people asking about this, my guess is that SFA is happening.
I heard from Good Robot, who sponsored the Amber Hybrid category. Actually I got the email about it while standing next to Josh - lucky!
Nothing from anyone else. I think the sponsors were given a list of winners to contact but that's all I know.

Is that how this is normally dealt with - the sponsors themselves sending out the goods?RubberToe wrote:Nothing from anyone else. I think the sponsors were given a list of winners to contact but that's all I know.
