Congrats all. No finals for us, sadly, but can't wait to get the feedback on our beer anyway.

Unfortunately, neither I nor my brewing companion Richard Cormier can make it to Halifax tomorrow for this - any chance a benevolent soul could grab our feeback (on our submitted beer, Tina Louise) and send us an electronic/scanned copy (provided suggested feedback exists)?

I sent an email to Henry as well... but figured I would ask here as well, just in case. Good luck with the presentations tomorrow... wish I could make it!

I asked about feedback and Henry said:

“Yes, I’ll send out all the judging sheets once the competition is over.”

So you might not need someone to pick it up. But I’m planning to go and if they are handling them out there I could snag it for you guys if you like? My experience had been that Henry writes back quite quickly so you may have a response tonight or tomorrow morning.

Hi guys - the judging sheets are all getting scanned and I'll email them out to everyone once the competition is over.

Great beers submitted this year - the range in scores was very narrow, and it was the most difficult judging session we've yet had. Very impressive.

What a tough afternoon. Seeing everyone's presentations and hearing about what everyone else did totally made me wonder about my beer and the decisions I'd made.

Props to everyone who entered; it takes gumption to throw $70 at a bag of stuff and believe you can make something special out of it. And congratulations to all the finalists. Everybody made a strong accounting of themselves today and as always it was awesome to see all the variation in the presentations.

Big shout out to Woody; all the judges raved about your beer and I'm really hoping I get a chance to try it. Half a point is a razor-thin margin and a stark reminder that things could have easily gone either way. Cheers!! :cheers2:

And big thanks to Henry and the rest of the Boxing Rock crew. I think this is one of the most interesting competitions in our region and I'm glad it continues to be an annual tradition.

Well said Mumble/Aaron and well deserved! It was a tough afternoon. Everyone brought their "A" game and it was allot of fun. Allot of home brew heavy weights in the house yesterday at Stillwell. Congrats again to Mumble and thanks to all competitors, judges, Boxing Rock and Stillwell for an awesome event! :rockin:

What an awesome crew. It was my first time presenting, and first time attending the event. Left over Peche day kicked my ass in a severe way.

Congrats to everyone!

That was a great afternoon...thanks to everyone at Boxing Rock for sponsoring such a great competition and to Stillwell for hosting. I never expected to make the final six and after seeing all the awesome beer and presentations I cant wait to give it a go again next year. Presentations were great and super imaginative....noce work everyone. Great to finally meet some of you as well!

Congrats to everyone, it was the exciting afternoon. Aaron Hebb and myself are stoked on the 3rd place finish. Oat of this world stout lived up to its name.

Can't wait for some of these beers to be available for tasting. Looking forward to next year comp and patio beer season.

The other Newfie is Shane, and he wasn’t familiar with the Brewnosers. So I schooled him on it, hopefully he signs up!

Congratulations to all of the entrants, finalists, and Mumble for the cup. Judging the beers last week, and then the presentations (and beer again) on Sunday wasn’t an easy task! Great quality beers (no surprise), with cool uses of ingredients, techniques, and presentations.
Great job to all of the finalists for getting up in front of a room full of strangers to share your story. Iran no small feat! And always great to see (and make) friends at these events. Makes it all worthwhile.
