San Juan, Puerto Rico
Found this hidden gem while a cruise of the Caribbean last week. I needed to quench my thirst with all the shit beer on the cruise ship. Took a few quarts bottles back on the ship.

Cool. I spent 30 days on a Dutch tall ship. We had ONE beer - I haven't drunk a Dutch lager since.ddwood94 wrote:Found this hidden gem while a cruise of the Caribbean last week. I needed to quench my thirst with all the shit beer on the cruise ship. Took a few quarts bottles back on the ship.
I've heard it can be more difficult to sneak the beer on board a cruise ship than to bring it from Quebec to New Brunswick

Currently on tap: Nothing!
In keg: Still nothing.
In Primary: Doggone American Rye Pale Ale

lol We had a few more opions than just one but I can understand you not drinking Dutch lager anymore. I survived on Grolsh, Becks and Guinness but it didn't get me excited to drink on the ship. You can take beer/wine on certain ships. We sailed with Princess and I believe they, Celebrity X, Holland will allow a few bottles for consumption in your room. I've heard Carnival and Royal Caribbean scan everything and will take it from you until the end of your trip. I had no issues with bringing on beer with Princess. I put it in a bag and let them X-ray and they didn't say a thing...

lmao! Funny you should mention that. We took our 7 month old daughter and they just had my wife push her through the walk thru machine in her stroller. They didn't push her thru the luggage scan. lol. Suprise, suprise.Dirt Chicken wrote:Have they started putting babies and children through xray yet while traveling on these ships yet?

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

Re: San Juan, Puerto Rico
I was there in November and was oh so sorry to find Lupulo if I remember the name correctly only 2 days before I was leaving. Deadly little beer bar with 20 or so taps and maybe 100 bottles. On the Friday night there was a DJ spinning reggae and Caribbean music. I would happily go back to hang there with the lovely little surfer girl I met
