Downtown Toronto

Hey, heading to Toronto for a short trip in next weekend. Looking for suggestions on brewpubs and brewery's to check out? As much as I'd like to get out and explore, don't have very much time.

What they said. Just some advice: C'est What has a bar service only section that isn't marked as such. If you want table service sit in front of the bar or in the back room, not the little side room. When I went with my dad we tried to flag down a waiter and one came over and (rudely) told us that there was no table service in our section. We weren't impressed.
Brewing right now: whatever is going on tap at Stillwell in a few weeks.

That's weird. I practically lived in C'est What for a week last summer, and I ate and drank in every part of the establishment, and didn't have any trouble getting served (there was one day when one room was dark - I didn't try getting served in there...)
Currently on tap: Nothing!
In keg: Still nothing.
In Primary: Doggone American Rye Pale Ale

Reviving this thread from the dead, as I just spent an extended weekend in Toronto, and there's lots of new spots. And I'm sure I won't hit them all in this post:

(Both very close to each other)
http://www.wvrst.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://barhopbar.com/barhop/home.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

(Also close to each other)
http://bellwoodsbrewery.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.habitsgastropub.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

http://amsterdambrewhouse.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (yes, THAT Amsterdam, but their Brewhouse is where they do wild and strange beers, only available there)

Thirsty and Miserable: https://twitter.com/thirstyandm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (Cash only, no website, but they post their board on twitter daily)

And I spent the week before that in Mississauga, here's where I drank:

http://west50.ca/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; 100+ taps, mostly foreign macros, but did have a few winners, can get 6oz samples of all drafts.
http://www.ribeyejacksalehouse.com/Stre ... /Beer.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (actually much better than the name would imply, could get a 7oz samples of any of the draft beer, had 3 diff Bellwoods in bottles)
http://www.thebiermarkt.com/location-detail.php?id=6" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (Good selection, but getting samples was like pulling teeth)

I'm agree on C'est What! A must for downtown. The food isn't great but the beer selection is excellent. If you can make it I recommend some of Award Winning Home brews of Brad Cliffords at Get Well Bar or a visit to Bar Volo.

Clifford no longer brews at Get Well, he's opened his own spot, Clifford Brewing. Had his Porter at Habits, really enjoyed it.

for a decent brewery tour steam whistle at the round house is pretty good, or used to be.

Heading to Toronto soon and am planning to check out this tour.

http://www.blackoakbeer.com/index.php/contact-us/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Might do Steam Whistle too as it's close to the airport.
Currently on tap:
1) Festa Brown Ale
2) Festa Pale Ale
3) Best Case Northern Lights
4) Festa Continental Pilsner

In the bucket: Empty
In the carboy: Empty

Buy yourself a 24 and you'll be happy for a weekend. Teach yourself to homebrew and you'll be happy for a lifetime. :)
