Hey, heading to Toronto for a short trip in next weekend. Looking for suggestions on brewpubs and brewery's to check out? As much as I'd like to get out and explore, don't have very much time.

What they said. Just some advice: C'est What has a bar service only section that isn't marked as such. If you want table service sit in front of the bar or in the back room, not the little side room. When I went with my dad we tried to flag down a waiter and one came over and (rudely) told us that there was no table service in our section. We weren't impressed.

That's weird. I practically lived in C'est What for a week last summer, and I ate and drank in every part of the establishment, and didn't have any trouble getting served (there was one day when one room was dark - I didn't try getting served in there...)

Reviving this thread from the dead, as I just spent an extended weekend in Toronto, and there's lots of new spots. And I'm sure I won't hit them all in this post:

I'm agree on C'est What! A must for downtown. The food isn't great but the beer selection is excellent. If you can make it I recommend some of Award Winning Home brews of Brad Cliffords at Get Well Bar or a visit to Bar Volo.

Clifford no longer brews at Get Well, he's opened his own spot, Clifford Brewing. Had his Porter at Habits, really enjoyed it.

for a decent brewery tour steam whistle at the round house is pretty good, or used to be.
