Mine had a slight mold taste. I suspect the bottle.

Sorry to hear that Sandy. I definitely owe you a replacement. I am out of the Black IPA, but I'll bring you some of my Ballast Sculpin that I'll be brewing this weekend. I'll PM you after Christmas to set up a meet.

No problem. This exchange is a friendly happening and amongst other things having other brewers love your bee sais its solid and the luck of the draw off bottle is an oddity.
I'm just looking for more beer.

Thanks Sandy, but I'd still like to drop off a bottle or two. I'm usually in and around the peninsula so I'm sure we can find a time that works.

It tasted more stout than IPA to me at first, but with a thinner mouthfeel. As I got into it I certainly picked up the hops. Tasty, thanks.

The Brewer of the next beer has their scoresheet. It scored ok but has one trait I thought needed to be addressed. What do you think?

Definitely didn't get the long head everybody else got but a nice beer nonetheless. Just finished the stout from day 1 so I'm not sure how much bitterness I'm actually getting but the hops are coming through nicely. Great job.

Oh, I thought you meant day 3 too. The only thing I could come up with there is that maybe the late hops were a little on the high side.
For day 4, I don't quite remember. I liked it, but I'm unfamiliar with the style.
