Those hops need to be changed out. There's no citrus character there, although the bittering addition is OK. Think cascade, amarillo, citra...

On second thought, 10% aromatic might be a bit much. I've never used it in a IPA though, maybe it will be great.

10% armomatic won't be overkill but it'll have a great malt backbone that's for sure. That's got to be my favorite malt :headbang: I'd also be tempted to put columbus all the way through that beer.
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

All columbus is pretty tasty. I used a pound in my WTF Pale Ale, and it turned out great.

I could try that too. This is my first attempt at doing an IPA so I'm really flying by the seat of my pants here...
