kriek tweek
I'm going to do my first brew in 15 years. Have most of the gear now to try all-grain, but thought it best if I try an extract kit first. I was thinking about the NG Kriek kit. Any suggestions to make sure it turns out?

Don't know much about that one. What's the general layout of the kit?

Lord jesus christ almighty. That's not a kriek, it's a fruit beer. But if that's what you are looking for, it should be fine.

X please explain. I'm a bit of a beer newby. I thought traditional Kriek was a fuit beer. I understand it is a lambic, but I wasn't planning on a wild ferment...I'm sure it would more than a little nasty given my level of expertise.mr x wrote:Lord jesus christ almighty. You pretty much have it figured out. A kriek should use some buggy stuff or wild yeasts. I just don't think NG should be selling fruit beers and calling them krieks.
