Very nice. Smooth, malty, perfect amount of bitterness. I got a hint of oxidation, but otherwise a damn fine beer! Thanks!

Been playing catch up tonight and had this after the raspberry. It clashed at first, but once my pallet adjusted this disappeared quickly. Nice and malty with a slightly bitter finish.

Very nice. Bottle was over filled so low carbonation (not a problem for me). Chocolate maltiness and nice balanced hopping.

It was forced carbonated. The problem is I used a different regulator and the gauge was off.

other than the low carb I thought this beer was great. Nice balance of hop/roast/malt.

Fantastic all around. Could easily down several of these. I may have to make an attempt at this myself.

Thanks!

Ours was very full and flat as a pancake. Nice blend of flavors from the sample though.
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.
