Had this during lunch today. Went great with the spicy noodles I had.
Perfect carbonation, great long lasting head, lots of flavour for such a low octane beer.
I'm getting a peculiar flavour. It's not bad, it's just new to me. At first I was thinking it was something yeast related, but I see you just used 05. I'm wondering now if it's the malt. I don't have much experience with that much Vienna. Hopefully someone can identify it for me.

I have heard that Horton malt puts off a very floral flavour. Definitely picked up on that when I had this

Seems like a well made beer, but I can now say that I'm not a fan the Horton Ridge malt

. Thanks for sharing.

Definitely getting the floral in this beer. It's not unpleasant but it does dominate. Thanks for sharing.

Wow perfumey (is that a word). Very drinkable and in the ABV range I like.

I also got the floral flavour, and mine was very over carbonated reminded me of champagne. First beer that I have had with just specialty malts. Thanks!

Yeah there are some different flavours in there. I'm not sure what to think about this beer or why it tastes like that. In addition to the floral description, I think there might also be a yeast health issue. Maybe the vienna and munich malts couldn't convert themselves without some 2-row in there (even though the should be able to). I also got a crazy low efficiency. I'm going to try this again: (1) with 50% 2-row to see if it helps and (2) the same recipe as above but with "regular malts".

I got a lot of the floral...not off putting at all. Just very present. I'll be on the look out for the Horton malts now. See if I can pick it out.
Good beer tho...cheers

Not really feeling this one. The flavour is really interesting but for me not really enjoyable. Crazy if that flavour is from the malt.....I would have bet on yeast.

Beer seems well made Adam, not really picking up any yeast problems but that malt certainly does bring something different to the table. I've heard of other brewers getting lower than expected yeild from those malts as well. Thanks for sharing, always love a beer/learning opportunity
