I opened this before I read the details. Cracked the bottle, got a whiff of all those hops, and prepared myself for soul-crushing bitterness. I was a tad disappointed in the IBU level, but the beer was fantastic. It went really well with the garlic chicken pasta I had for supper. I would drink lots of this.

Thanks for the beer! expected to have a little more hop punch then saw it was a 42 litre batch. I've never had a Zombie Dust so I have nothing to compare to. Easy drinker and maybe a little less body than I prefer.

Mine was a little murky in the glass, but that doesn't bother me. I got the same blast of hop aroma, but was disappointed there wasn't much hop character (apart from bitterness). A nice drink none the less. Thanks!

Having brewed it before it's a great recipe. It was the first IPA I made that sold me on the style. I wasn't doing anything with my water which has since made a world of difference with my IPA game. Might try it again!

Low bitterness of course from all late hops, light-medium body, would have expected better head retention considering the grain bill but I've read certain hops can hinder that, beautiful thick looking beer with it being cloudy from the hops. The unmistakable Citra flavor is there. There's a slight acetaldehyde note however I am very very sensitive to that, part way through the glass it was gone and there was enough aroma to keep it from really being off putting.

Thanks for the beer Dan! Wish I had another

I enjoyed this one. I think I thought it was going to have more hop flavour/bitterness but I think that was just the strong hop aroma that got me thinking that. I didn't realize until after I tried it that the hops were all late additions.

Thanks for the beer!

If you said you added peaches to this I would believe it. This definitely hit the spot. Thanks.

Nice beer, I find the bitterness is in the right range of how I like APA's. I'm curious, did you measure your actual final gravity? I find has a bit of a worty sweet aftertaste. Nothing crazy, I'm just getting a hint of it. I bet the bitterness would come through more if this beer finished a bit dryer.

Thanks, yep I measured the gravities. I just wrote it as "target" for this recipe section for it you want to recreate the beer you're drinking :D

Yeah it's a bit sweeter than the other two batches I've previously made, possibly a warmer mash.
