This one is really hitting the spot today. Not too hoppy, enough malt to be interesting. I'm not sure if it is the hops or what, but I'm almost getting a coca-cola taste to it, but it works. Thanks!

Yeah this beer is fantastic. I’m really digging it as I drink it. Totally can see where the Coca Cola comment is coming from. I lived out west for 11 years and love WCIPAs and this doesn’t disappoint. Like I said last night not a huge hop head anymore but like hops and this totally appeals to me. Want to drop a keg off in middle Sackville to me? Haha

Deep golden hue, akin to a dark orange/copper colour. Fantastic head retention... I think if I left it overnight, a hearty head would still be present. I can certainly get the slight caramel flavour from the crystal malt; I wonder if it is that, with the hop mix and carbonation that also gives a glimmer of that Coca Cola taste mentioned above.
Medium bodied with more of a malt-forward hit on the palate, the lighter dry-hopping gives it a minimal hop presence, without being sharp, spicy or piney. The very fact that it is a WCIPA that has been made without Simcoe gives it a fresh new presence.
Perfect beer for today. I cracked it open, then realized I had some friggin chores to do... 30 mins later, the beer was sitting as if I just poured it.
Impressive brew, Buccaneer! I'm enjoying the hell out of it.

Agreeing with above. Nice carb. Easily rousable, persistent off-white head. Nice deep golden colour, medium haze. Totally getting the cola thing on the nose and in the flavor profile. Nice creamy mouthfeel with a lingering drying bitterness that makes me keep taking another sip.
Reminds me of a nice west coast pale with a bit of extra back bitterness.
Great job and thanks!!!

Great carbonation, balanced aroma and bitterness. Didn’t think I would get the Coca Cola but do for sure....a first for me. Congrats on 1st place Gahan!

Thoroughly enjoyed this; it’s beautifully balanced. Plenty of malt character there for such a simple grain bill. And pretty good hop character for not a ton of hops. Further proof that less can be more.

Great beer, nice and carbonated. Reminds me of one I made this summer with similar hopping schedule. However it was made with MO and no caramel. Well done!

Ha, didn't realize I had tried this beer a few weeks back in Charlottetown. Great WCIPA! Thanks!

Was really in the mood for this style and it did not disappoint. Tastes like something I would brew on the regular. Nice job.
Wife wanted to know what the things are crossed behind the skull in the logo - I am guessing they are mash paddles?
