Had this today. Playing a bit of catch-up.
Found this one quite tasty. I did not get any of the mint or vanilla coming through but the coco came through nicely. The fortification was nice as well. Thanks!

This sounds good, did you add the tincture in primary or secondary?

Had planned to add it at secondary, but wasn't able to get together with my brewing friend and plans got messed up because of COVID restrictions, so we ended up adding it at bottling... at which point the cocoa nibs had absorbed almost all the bourbon... so we had to use a French press to extract the liquid.Peterpasha wrote:This sounds good, did you add the tincture in primary or secondary?
In retrospect, we should have just dumped the Mason jar into the bucket and put a hop sock over the autosiphon to maximize the flavour (though adding at secondary would have been even better). So it is more muted than we would have liked, but still pretty decent.
