Enjoyed this! I was starting to get sick of hoppy beers, but these WCIPAs have changed my mind. I think I need to brew one. These started my craft beer journey out west.

It’s my first real crack at west coast...I’ve been leaning toward the east coast and NEIPA lately and missed the bitter hops as well. Happy it brought back your west coast memories!

Drinking this beauty while we sit outside at the fire table (best purchase we made during the pandemic, at Canadian Tire in early April).

Using it to wash down some popcorn I made on the stove with fresh ground black pepper (also a game-changer). This is a really well-made beer... I used to put too much crystal in my WCIPAs, but this is the perfect amount. Hop balance is perfect too. I wish I had another one waiting for me in the snow.

I dont think I ever tried this yeast, but I've had some great success with a couple other Mangrove Jack's - notably the belgian tripel and the M-05 cider yeast... might have to to try this one next.

Solid WCIPA! As others mentioned I've been mostly buying juicy/NE IPAs, it's been quite a while since I've had a west coast variant.
