Czech Amber Lager

OG: 1.053
FG: 1.013

SRM: 9
ABV: 5.27%

Recipe was for 5 gallons.

Grains:
8 lb Pils Malt(80%)
1.5 lb Munich Malt (15%)
0.5 lb Caramunich (5%)

Hops:
0.3 oz Magnum 11.7% (30 minutes)
1 oz Hallertau Blanc 10% (flame out)

Well water with estimates for mineral content and some gypsum and calcium chloride added. Probably moderately hard without too many carbonates.

Escarpment Labs Krispy

Other comments:
This is probably a bit pale for the style.

Nice clean and crisp lager! As you noted, I think it could have had a bit more colour.

Colour threw me off a bit and I didn't check to see what I was drinking before opening. It went down really easy and was very tasty. Thanks for the share!

Not as crisp as it might have been with a true lager yeast, but still super drinkable and no doubt turned around much quicker. Some lovely malt notes there and I love the wine-y influence of the H. Blanc hops. Nice beer.
