Hard to describe, it has a tropical flavour that's all it's own.

Pretty wild looking - almost looks like cookies and cream ice cream. I'll have to try one.

I find the flavor very subtle. From the look of the fruit you would expect a WOW.

It is mild. Pete's is the cheapest place to get them.

I tried a lychee berry from there a week or two ago thinking of using it in beer but the flavour was too subtle. Have you tasted your beer? Although seems to me we were talking about this at the Haskap day and it was subtle, hence the guava?

I got thinking about it, and although I didn't taste it first, added the guava anyway. The watermelon is tasting good.

I'm a big fan of watermelon in beer. I'm growing a bunch of them this summer, likely will have more than I can use if you want some. They're not the typical grocery store seedless variety though. Blacktail and Moonbeam I believe - Moonbeam has yellow flesh.
