What yeast did you use? I can't seem to find where you said it.

Cheers :rockin:

I used Wyeast 1084 for that particular brew.

Beer sounds awesome. Did you age any bottles to try later on?

I did......but they are long gone now! The beer aged really nice and I'd actually like to brew this one again when I have time. I'll definitely be using cocoa nibs next time around though.

I know I am bringing back an old thread but really intrigued by this recipe. I had an S'mores Stout at Base Camp Brewing Company in Portland and have been wanting to make something like it ever since. How big was the batch? I was looking for it in Beer Smith, but I will probably have to create one. Any help would be great! Thank you. :cheers2:

Wow, how ironic........was just thinking last week that I need to brew this again, and commercially for the first time.

To answer your question, this was a 5 gal batch.

I think I am going to brew try your recipe this weekend. So you would use Coco nibs instead of powder? How much you think? Also, any thoughts to the marshmallow flavor? I read about making a marshmellow syrup and adding it to primary, secondary and possibly the keg. What are your thoughts? The thread is below. I appreciate all your info and help! Thank you! :cheers2:

Actually, scrap that last post. I think I am going to use this instead. Do you think I should add it last 15 min of the boil, and to secondary?
