Looking for some input for the second attempt at a good House IIPA. Last one was great, but the hop presence was not up to snuff. I'm also looking to add a nice pine smack to it this time through. The malt bill was great (despite some reservations over the amount of malts from friends before they tasted it). I will be adding Gypsum, for the first time and using the following recipe.
14# 2-row Pale Malt
1# Munich 10
1# Vienna
12oz. CaraPils
12oz. C-60
Hop Bill
1oz. Zeus(16.4%)@60min
0.5oz. Zeus(16.4%)@45min
1oz. Simcoe(13%)@30min
0.5oz. Chinook(13.6%)@25min
2oz. Cascade(7%)@15min
1oz. Simcoe(13%)@5min
2oz. Cascade(7%)@0min
1oz. Simcoe(13%)@0min
1oz. Chinook(13%)@0min
Dry Hops
2oz. Cascade (14 Days)
1oz. Simcoe (14 Days)
1oz. Chinook (7 Days)

Input on House IIPA v2.0
Nova Prime Taproom
Tap 1: Festa Brew Scotch Ale
Tap 2:
"Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chamber of my brain -
Quaintest thoughts - queerist fancies
Come to life and fade away;
What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today." ~ Poe

What's the gravity?
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.
