Falconer's Flight IPA

Falconer's Flight IPA

I've had a little bit of Falconer's Flight hops for awhile, but have gotten around to using them. I'm thinking of brewing an IPA with them tomorrow and came up with this recipe. Thoughts?


12 lbs Pale Malt (2 Row) US (2.0 SRM) Grain 1 84.2 %
1 lbs Vienna Malt (3.5 SRM) Grain 2 7.0 %
12.0 oz Caramunich Malt (56.0 SRM) Grain 3 5.3 %
8.0 oz Cara-Pils/Dextrine (2.0 SRM) Grain 4 3.5 %
1.20 oz Magnum [14.00 %] - Boil 60.0 min Hop 5 48.3 IBUs
1.00 Items Whirlfloc Tablet (Boil 15.0 mins) Fining 6 -
1.00 oz Falconer's Flight [9.90 %] - Boil 15.0 min Hop 7 14.1 IBUs
1.00 oz Falconer's Flight [9.90 %] - Boil 5.0 min Hop 8 5.7 IBUs
1.00 oz Falconer's Flight [9.90 %] - Boil 0.0 min Hop 9 0.0 IBUs

Looks tasty, should be a nice citrus bomb

Fermenting: Oud bruin/Vienna Pekko SMaSH
On tap: Nelson dry hopped Berliner/ Scottish Heavy 70-/ NE IPA

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:
